1. VICENTE MANANSALA  (January 22, 1910--August 22, 1981)

-- A beautiful painting filled with historic details.

--It shows a deep sadness during burial.

2. JUAN LUNA (October 23, 1857 — December 7, 1899)

--It reminds me of a woman wearing a Maria Clara gown. Beautiful. 
















Spolarium (Rome,1884)

--I was amazed because it was painted on a very large canvas. It must be the most well-known painting of a Filipino artist because of its historical significance. They say that the dead bodies of gladiators represent the Spanish killings of Filipino revolutionaries. 





Portrait of a Lady

--This work of art is a lonely woman. And when I see this art I feel sad.













3. FELIX RESURRECCION HIDALGO (February 21, 1885--March 13, 1913)

-- It is also stunningly beautiful. I was amazed becaused it was also painted on a large canvas.














Don Luis Perez Dasmarinas

-- Letter of the governor of Filipinas, Don Luis Perez Dasmarinas informing his majesty of the poor reception the Portuguese gave his cousin, Don Hernando de Castro, whom he sent to look for the galley that he Chinese who mutinied and killed his father took and brought to China.
